The Ad Council is lead by a committed group of professionals - the board of directors and our leadership team and SVPs. Their passion and vision is what drives the Ad Council to inspire change and improve lives.
The Board of Directors is a large and prestigious group of business leaders who work closely with us and is charged with the task of managing and advising the Ad Council's business affairs. The Board of Directors is comprised of the industry's leading decision makers, from ad agencies, media, advertisers/client companies and trade organizations.
There are three distinctions within this esteemed group:
- Board of Directors includes 125 voting members that serve three-year terms.
- Chair Emeriti consists of all former Ad Council Chairmen of the Board.
- Honorary Directors are former directors who have made outstanding contributions to the success, growth, and reputation of the Ad Council.
The Ad Council also has its Leadership Council, which consists of executives from media companies, creative and digital agencies, and corporate advertisers who identify ways their companies can support campaigns and share learning, insights and capabilities.
